Pistachio Squares

Pistachio squares


Ingredients

  • 1 cup butter
  • 4 tbsp sugar
  • 2 cup flour
  • ½ cup chopped nuts of your choice
  • 1 package cream cheese
  • ¾ cup icing sugar
  • 8 cup cool whip
  • 2 packages instant pistachio pudding mix
  • 2 cup milk
  • 8 cup cool whip

Directions

  1. Preheat oven to 325 degrees
  2. First layer: Cream butter, sugar, flour. Add nuts
  3. Press into greased 9x13 pan and bake for 10 min
  4. Second layer: Mix cream cheese and sugar at high speed and blend in cool whip. Spread over cooled first layer
  5. Third layer: Mix pudding and milk and place in fridge for 3 minutes and then pour over second layer
  6. Spread additional cool whip on top of dessert and sprinkle with chopped nuts
