Donair Dip

Ingredients

  • 1 lb lean ground beef
  • 1 tsp dried oregano
  • ½ tsp cayenne pepper
  • 2 tsp paprika
  • 2 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp onion powder
  • ½ tsp each salt and black pepper
  • 1 package (8oz) cream cheese
  • ½ cup shredded pizza mozzarella
  • 1 cup donair sauce (see below for recipe)
  • 1 tomato, seeded and diced
  • 1 onion, minced

Donair Sauce

  • 1 can Sweetened Condensed Milk
  • ¼ cup White Vinegar
  • ½ tsp Garlic Powder

Directions

  1. Mix up all the spices and add to ground beef as it cooks
  2. While the meat is browning, make your donair sauce and mix with cream cheese and shredded mozzarella
  3. Drain beef and mix in with cream cheese mixture
  4. Transfer all to a small casserole dish and cover (if not eating right away)
  5. Once ready to cook, preheat oven to 350 degrees and cook for 20 minutes
  6. Once cooked, sprinkle diced tomatoes and minced onions over the top and serve with desired tortilla chips
