Chicken Tortellini

Creamy delicious chicken tortellini


Ingredients

  • 1 tbsp butter
  • 1 tbsp oil
  • 2 chicken breast
  • 1 tsp cajun seasoning
  • 1 tsp italian seasoning
  • ½ tsp paprika
  • 2 garlic cloves (2 tsp minced) - chopped or pressed
  • 4 oz chicken stock
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 4 tbsp parmesan
  • 14 oz tortellini cooked to package instructions

Directions

  1. Cut chicken breast into chunks and set aside. Mix seasonings in small bowl, set aside
  2. Add butter and oil to pan to heat up
  3. Add chicken to heated pan and toss in seasonings. Fry about 5 minutes
  4. Start boiling water and cook pasta as per package instructions once it boils
  5. Add garlic and fry for another minute or so
  6. Add chicken stock and fry for another minute
  7. Add heavy cream and cook until cream thickens on low heat
  8. Once cream has thickened, add parmesan cheese
  9. Add a bit of pasta water to mixture and then toss in cooked pasta and mix
  10. Serve with fresh parmesan grated on top if desired
