Chicken Teriyaki

Tasty chicken teriyaki
Ingredients
- 1 lb boneless, skinless chicken breast (cut into chunks)
- ⅓ cup soy sauce
- 1 ½ tbsp rice wine vinegar
- 1 tsp toasted sesame oil
- 1 ½ tbsp honey
- 2 cloves garlic (or 2 tsp minced)
- 2 tsp minced or grated ginger
- 1 ½ tsp cornstarch
- toasted sesame seeds (optional)
- scallions (optional)
Directions
- In a bowl whisk together soy sauce, rice vinegar, sesame oil, honey, garlic, ginger and cornstarch
- Heat oil over medium heat, add chicken to skillet and season with salt and pepper. Cook until golden and almost cooked through (around 10 minutes)
- Pour sauce over chicken and simmer until sauce has thickened and chicken is completely cooked (about 5 minutes)
- Garnish with sesame seeds and scallions (optional). Serve over rice
